Adrien Guérin ( ENSCI), tu viens d’entrer dans ma short list avec les petits génies de l’ECAL, de RCA , de Eindhoven et de Milano duo…
Pour moi le design doit être de la prestidigitation…. et surtout on ne doit pas voir les ficelles,les trucs… Bravo

Exact!
Depuis que j’ai travaillé sur le sujet « gravité 0″ à l’ENSCI dans l’atelier de Laurent Massaloux, je trouve intéressant de voir tout les moyens qui sont mis en œuvre par les designers pour alléger visuellement le mobilier, et notamment grâce aux « supercherie » l’outil des magiciens!

Dining Room Table Printed
It’s really just a model, but the concept was developed by Swiss Designer Phillippe Cramer. Interestingly, Philippe’s model is entitled, « Stalactite Table », which mirrors the 3D printing process that produced it: layer by layer.
Maybe when the build chambers of commonly available 3D printers are a bit bigger than they are now (12 inches just isn’t going to cut it) we can contemplate punching one of these out for the dining room…

A mon avis stereolithographie/ epoxy
Originally designed for an art project, the model for the dining table “Nuit/Stalactite” was designed to be produced with a 3D printing process: adding layer over layer of material to build the final product, thus mimicking the actual process with which stalactites are made in a natural environment. Each height of table will represent a lapse of time, emphasizing the difference by which nature and the post-industrial world create the same objects.
