Cela pose la question du rôle du designer
« Alain Berteau (excellent designer belge)se veut avant tout réaliste. Pour lui, un bon design ne doit pas réinventer une typologie de la table ou de la chaise mais apporter un plus aux typologies existantes. La forme doit rester secondaire mais grâce à son œil d’architecte, il apporte cette petite touche concrète qui est souvent décisive dans un secteur où la rentabilité et la faisabilité sont autant de gages de réussite. »
