Imaginé par le designer suisse Mario Rohner, petit coup de projecteur sur le très étonnant projet de guitare acoustique démontable Monday Morning Travel Guitar. Très expérimentale, l’idée propose de démonter le manche, puis de séparer le corps de l’instrument en deux parties qui pourront par la suite s’emboiter pour limiter l’encombrement. Outre les questions qu’on peut se poser concernant la qualité sonore de l’instrument, c’est davantage l’originalité de l’approche qui nous a séduits. Plus de détails en images dans la suite !

Monday Morning Travel Guitar deals with the topic deals with the topic of volume reduction of an object. The guitar can be reduced in size, e.g to increase transportability. Monday Morning is a fully- fledged acoustic guitar, which can be transformed into a small and compact package. With this special feature, it is no longer a problem to take the guitar wherever you want to go. In its packed situation, the guitar has the size of a handbag. The two body parts are made out of liquid wood, which can be processed by injection molding. As a result of this, the guitar has resistant characteristics against climate changes, e.g. changes in temperature or humidity.
