Description originale
“Off the Wall” was a part of Kicki Edgren’s master degree work 2009. It consists of two components and there is wallpaper and 3dimensional forms that are mounted over the wallpaper. The result is that the wallpaper seems to have life, bulges and rolls and these forms become shelves. And suddenly you get a new function with the wall- paper. An extra effect in the pattern design is that the repitition in the pattern is ripped off, they don’t seem to reach all way down to the floor. Some pattern in the collection the forms are falling down, twists or bends. There are a several different 3-dimensional forms in the collection. The pattern collection consists of six pattern designs.
“Off the Wall” is now in production and are for sale from December 2009 from our webpage. In January the collection will be available in stores in Sweden. In January the 20th-24th we will exhibit the collection in Formex at Stock- holm fair at the department ”Young designers”. The full collection will be presented at our webpage in December 2009. Information about prices and distributions in our webpage in December/january.
