Créée par le designer Jarrod Lim basé à Singapour en s’inspirant des structures en acier des grilles de jardin et de la forme du pattern asiatique traditionnel représentant les écailles de la carpe Koi, on a particulièrement aimé la « Koi Chair », une très belle chaise au style épuré qui s’affranchit toutefois de l’atmosphère du design mondial actuel. Appearing like an ornate wrought iron gate, the Koi chair expresses the ideals of tranquil garden retreats, in a visually lightweight and delicate form. Incorporating a traditional Asian fish scale pattern into an innovative welded structure, the Koi chair represents the peaceful atmosphere often associated with the Koi fish found in many tradtional Asian gardens.
