Sleeve Collection. Hand crafted range for Apple portables. With the launch of the Sleeve Collection, Carga continues its tradition of bringing architecturally inspired design to personal goods through its minimalistic aesthetic and understated luxury. Carga’s characteristic design ethos is manifested the folding of a single piece of vegetable dyed cow hide, sourced from the plains of Argentina. “All of my Carga designs start from a place of personal need,” says Mauro Bianucci. “I couldn’t find something that would protect my Mac against scratches when carrying it in my bag. Something that wasn’t too bulky or gadget-like. I wanted something that was simple and functional, but looked good.” The solution came when Mauro designed a unique closing mechanism without zippers, magnets or clasps, allowing for a smooth aesthetic while keeping the contents secure.   Architecturally inspired construction features and precise dimensioning are signatures of Carga design. The Sleeve range is designed for iPod/iPhone, iPad and 13”, 15” and 17” MacBooks.
