COLLECTING FOR THE COMMUNITY PROMOTION
Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation
July 12, 2021-January 3, 2022

1. The Collecting For The Community promotion (the “Promotion”) is held by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (“OLG”) and is organized and administered on OLG’s behalf by The T1 Agency (the “Promotion Organizer”).
2. The Promotion commences at 1:00:00 p.m. on Monday July 12, 2021 and closes on Monday January 3, 2022 (the “Promotion Closing Date”) at 11:59:59 p.m. (the “Promotion Period”). For the purposes of these Official Rules and Regulations, all times and dates refer to Eastern Time (“ET”).
3. Participation in the Promotion constitutes full and unconditional agreement and acceptance of these Official Rules and Regulations (the “Promotion Rules”), which are binding on all matters relating to the promotion.
4. The odds of winning an OLG Prize Pack will depend on the total number of eligible entries that are received prior to the listed draw date(s) (as described below in Rule 14) during the Promotion Period.

   ELIGIBILITY:

5. No Purchase Necessary. This Promotion is open only to legal residents of Ontario who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (each, an "Entrant", and collectively, the "Entrants"). Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Promotion is not open to: employees of The T1 Agency, OLG, OLG's authorized retailers (including sole proprietorships and corporation partnerships), the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario ("AGCO"), and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, agents, their advertising and promotional agencies. Promotion is not open to Self-Excluded Individuals. Determinations of eligibility shall be made in the sole discretion of the Promotion Organizer and OLG.

   HOW TO ENTER:

   NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. An Entrant may submit only one (1) entry during the Promotion Period. Entrants must complete the following steps to obtain an entry, as outlined below:

6. In order to participate in the Promotion, an Entrant must visit CollectingForTheCommunity.ca on either an Android or iOS device (web, mobile, tablet), and proceed to the registration component.
7. Entrants must enter all required information (First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Postal Code and Date of Birth) and accept Promotion Rules and Regulations.
8. Once registered, Entrants must play the Collecting For The Community Game for the duration of the game (allotted game time is 45 seconds).
9. The Promotion Organizer and OLG reserve the right to request proof of identity (in a form acceptable to OLG and the Promotion Organizer – including, without limitation, government-issued photo identification) from Entrants for: (i) eligibility to participate in this Promotion; (ii) the purposes of verifying the eligibility and/or legitimacy of an Entry entered (or purportedly entered) for the purposes of this Promotion; and/or (iii) any other reason the Promotion Organizer and OLG deem necessary, acting in their sole discretion, for the purposes of administering this Promotion in accordance with these Official Rules. Failure to provide such proof to the satisfaction of the Promotion Organizer in a timely manner may result in disqualification of the Entrant, in the sole discretion of the Promotion Organizer or OLG.
10. In order to be eligible to participate in the Promotion, entries must be received during the Promotion Period. Only entries received in accordance with these Promotion Rules will be accepted. No other methods of entry will be accepted.

    PRIZES:

11. There is a total of twenty-five (25) OLG Prize Packs (each, a “Prize Pack,” and collectively, the “Prize Packs”). Each Prize Pack has an approximate retail value of two hundred and fifty Canadian dollars ($250.00 CAD), and consists of:

12. Entrants are eligible to win a maximum of one (1) Prize Pack during the Promotion
13. The following general conditions apply to all Prizes:
    1. Prizes are subject to availability and must be accepted as awarded;
    2. Prizes are not transferable, assignable or convertible to cash (except as may be specifically permitted by OLG in its sole discretion).
    3. OLG may, in its sole discretion, substitute another prize of equal or greater value; and
    4. No substitutions except at OLG’s option.

    PRIZE DRAW / WINNER SELECTION:

14. A total of Twenty-five (25) Collecting For The Community Promotion winners will be randomly selected during the Promotion period by the Promotion Organizer on the specified draw dates listed below.
15. On each Draw Date (as listed below), a random draw will be conducted by the Promotion Organizer using an amalgamated list from all valid entries received for the Promotion. One (1) eligible entry will be selected by random draw from among all eligible entries submitted in accordance with these Rules. The odds of winning a Prize Pack depends on the number of eligible entries submitted during each applicable Prize Pack.
16. Three (3) back-up entries will be randomly drawn for each Prize Pack. In the event that a selected entry is ineligible to win a Prize Pack, the first back-up entry will be deemed to have been the drawn Entry for that Prize Pack. In the event that the first drawn back-up entry is ineligible to win a Prize Pack, the second drawn entry will be deemed to have been the drawn entry for the Prize Pack. In the event the second drawn entry is ineligible to win the Prize Pack the third drawn entry shall be deemed to be the drawn entry for the Prize Pack. In the event that the third drawn entry is ineligible to win the Prize Pack, there shall be no obligation to award the relevant Prize Pack to anyone, but the Promotion Organizer may, at the sole and absolute discretion of OLG, redraw three (3) backup entries in accordance with this Rule 15 and repeat this
17. Each eligible winner will be notified that they are eligible to win via the email address as provided on the registration form (the “Eligible Winner Communication”). Each Eligible Winner Communication will include instructions to respond to The T1 Agency (Promotion Organizer) by a specific date and time to remain eligible to win the applicable Prize Pack.
18. If an eligible winner does not contact The T1 Agency (Promotion Organizer) in accordance with the instructions and time limit specified in the applicable Eligible Winner Communication, then they will no longer be eligible to receive the applicable Prize Pack.
19. In order to be confirmed as the winner of the applicable Prize Pack, after responding to The T1 Agency (Promotion Organizer) the eligible winner must present valid government-issued photo identification, and will also be required to sign a Release form (the “Release Form”) confirming compliance with the Official Rules, acceptance of the Prize Pack as awarded, without substitution, and releasing the Released Parties from any liability in connection with the Prize or the Promotion before being granted the Prize Pack.
20. If an eligible winner: (a) fails to prove eligibility with government-issued photo identification (b) cannot accept (or is unwilling to accept) the applicable Prize (as awarded) for any reason; and/or (c) is determined to be in violation of these Rules (all as determined by OLG in its sole discretion); then they will be disqualified (and will forfeit all rights to the applicable Prize Pack).
21. Each Prize Pack is non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded. OLG reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute any Prize Pack or a component thereof with a prize or prizes of equal or greater retail value.
22. Entries for each draw will close by 11:59:59 p.m. the day before the draw date. Selection for the Prize Packs will take place as follows:

    DELIVERY OF PRIZE PACKS:

23. Prize Packs will be mailed to the Eligible Winner’s home address obtained by the Promotion Organizer during the Eligible Winner Communication.
24. IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ENTRANTS OF THIS PROMOTION TO ENSURE THAT CONTACT INFORMATION, INCLUDING FULL NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS AND HOME ADDRESS, IS ACCURATE AND UP-TO-DATE. OLG SHALL HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY CONSEQUENCES RESULTING FROM ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS PROVIDING OUT-OF-DATE OR INCORRECT INFORMATION.

    DONATION:

25. After the conclusion of the Promotion Period, OLG will donate a total of $50,000.00 CAD to United Way.
26. Distribution of the $50,000.00 is as follows: $1,000.00 CAD will be donated to each of the Twenty-Seven (27) United Way branches within the province of Ontario. This totals $27,000.00 CAD.
27. The remaining $23,000.00 CAD will be distributed between Ontario United Way branches based on OLG All For Here Collecting For The Community Game participation, using the Postal Codes provided by participants upon registration.
28. Upon Promotion Close Date, the Program Organizer will collect all valid Ontario Postal codes and assign a United Way Branch that is located the closest. The remaining $23,000.000 CAD will then be divided between the total number of United Way Branches, prorated by location and associated nearby Branch.

    GENERAL RULES:

30. Each prize must be accepted as awarded, and no prize substitutions of cash or otherwise or transfer of the Prize Pack will be made, provided that the Promotion Organizer and OLG may make prize substitutions of equal or greater value, at their sole discretion.
31. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations and shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
32. By entering the Promotion, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Promotion Rules and all decisions of the Promotion Organizer and OLG, whose decisions are final with respect to all matters relating to the Promotion, including (without limitation) the selection of prize winners. All decisions made by the Promotion Organizer and OLG with respect to any aspect of this Promotion are final.
33. If it is discovered by OLG (using any evidence or other information made available to or otherwise discovered by OLG) that any participant (or any other person or entity purporting to be a participant) has attempted to use multiple names, identities, email addresses, Accounts and/or any automated, macro, script, robotic or other system(s) or program(s) to enter or otherwise participate in or to disrupt this Promotion, then he/she may be disqualified from participating in the Promotion, and subsequent offers and promotions, in the sole and absolute discretion of OLG.
34. The Promotion Organizer and OLG may terminate, modify, suspend, or withdraw from this Promotion (and/or any aspect thereof, including methods for selection of the prize winners), in whole or in part, at any time without notice for any reason, without liability, at their sole discretion, if viruses, bugs, tampering, or other causes beyond the Promotion Organizer’s and OLG’s control affect the security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the Promotion. In the event a substitute prize is awarded, such prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash or other means. Further, the Promotion Organizer and OLG reserve the right to disqualify any person and void any entries of that person who it believes has tampered with the entry process or any other component of the Promotion, whose conduct or action affects the administration, security or fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Promotion or who fails to meet or abide by these Promotion Rules.
35. The Promotion Organizer and OLG shall not be responsible for tampering, theft, human errors (including gross negligence) ineligibility, lost, late or misdirected entries or for any problems, failures or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or servers, computer software problems or traffic congestion on the internet, or at any website and assume no liability for damage to entrant’s or any person’s computer resulting from participating in the Promotion or the rewarding of the Prize Packs. Online entries must be submitted with a valid phone number or a valid e-mail account.
36. The Promotion Organizer and OLG reserves the right to change or alter this Promotion, as it deems appropriate, including, but not limited to, making changes or alterations to these Rules relating to the accommodation of participants in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA).
37. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with the terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

Notice of Collection of Personal Information: Personal information including name, email address, postal code and date of birth are collected under the authority of section 3 of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation Act, 1999, to administer the Promotion, including determining participants’ eligibility and determine geographical allocation of funds provided by OLG to local United Way offices. Entrants’ contact information may also be used to request their voluntary participation in a one-time research survey measuring the Promotion’s effectiveness. Where an Entrant has opted in to receive offers and updates from OLG, their personal information will subsequently be used to manage their participation in OLG’s marketing programs.
