Assuming a losing sequence of five bets, the increase will have been 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, and going back two, the new bet will be CAD5 and they will have to continue betting CAD5 until the winning streak is interrupted, and in case of a loss, resume the increase from where they left off, then bet 8, 13, 21.

Variations of the Fibonacci betting method
